Michael James Honour was born on Halloween in Swansea, South Wales. He grew up in Llanelli with his parents, sister and brother where his love of reading blossomed.
By day he works in a shop. But by night, he’s a storyteller who spends his evenings and weekends squirreling away on his laptop and in his many notebooks, writing stories.
His love of Young Adult novels has shaped him as a storyteller. Whilst he is still working on his debut Young Adult novel, Crystal Green and the Moon Machine, he couldn’t help himself dreaming up other worlds and characters to explore them. During his stint as a columnist in his local paper the Llanelli Star, he brought to life the short story series The Last Day, which is his first foray into the world of self publishing for Kindle. It is a dark series which begs the question, what would you do if you knew that today was your last day alive?
Michael lives in Llanelli with his partner Justin.
